I am really looking forward to the Blos Moonlight Cinema & Market THIS Saturday the 29th September from 4pm.

 

I have never exhibited at their Moonlight Markets but have heard that they are really, really fun, so I am excited to be there!

 

I will also have some new goodies there - so make sure you come and pop in to the Lime Green Bean stall!

Lime Green Bean at the Melville Market

I am so excited that Lime Green Bean will be at the new Melville Market which is starting on Saturday, 15th September 2012 - for the very first time!!

There wil be lots to see and do  - especially for kids and adults alike!

Ooh la la at Market at Eau-la-la!

I am thrilled to announce that Lime Green Bean has been invited to join Eau-La-La at their Market on Saturday, the 1st of September from 9am to 2pm.

The market is at Cape Connection, 59 Garsfontein Road, Menlyn, the same location as their fab shop!

There will be loads of exhibitors many goodies to choose from!

I am really excited to be there and I do hope you will all pop in to come say "hi"!

Special Free Gift at the Blos Mark - All about BEES!

As you all know Lime Green Bean will bee at the Blos Mark on the 23^rd June from 10:00 till 15:00 and the theme of the market is all about bees.

I love honey – a lot.. and bees are such amazing creatures. I have always said I wouldn’t mind being a queen bee if we could come back to earth as something different in a new life!

As the market is all about bees, I have made a limited amount of these really cute little bee magnets that I will give away for FREE with each purchase :)

There are a limited amount available and there will also be some other exciting new goodies for sale at my stall.

I really can't wait!

The Blos Mark is really such a fun day – and the organisers Sielja and Martli are super kind and really go to a great deal of trouble with special treats for the kids with face painting and a pinata – which was so much fun last time!!

There is also going to be a live band: Rudine Geer and special talks and demonstrations about bees on the day.

I do hope you will come and enjoy a lovely relaxing day out and learn more about the exciting life of the humble and selfless honey bee.. looking forward to see you all there!

Lime Green Bean at the Fat Olive Organic & Craft Market

Lime Green Bean will be at The Fat Olive Organic & Craft Market this Saturday  - the 26th May 2012 from 10:00 – 14:00.

The market is at the Fat Olive Country Restaurant and there will be lots of fresh organic produce and handmade goodies on sale!

A lovely Market Day!

Lime Green Bean was delighted (to say the very least) to be at the Blos Mark this past Saturday.

It was amazing – the atmosphere was so relaxed and really reminded me of my many years in Cape Town!

There was so much fun for the kids and they were literally standing in queues to have their faces painted and when I saw how amazing they looked, I kind of wished I could have mine done too!!

There were also balloon animals for all the kids and of course the piñata was an absolute hoot! It took many a man to get that piñata open, but you can just imagine the elation thereafter!

I really, really loved being there – the people were so friendly and loved my Lime Green Bean goodies – thank you all for your amazing support!

I just loved my little “shop” for the day – I worked really really hard, but it was SO worth it!

The Onesies were a real hit!

Lots of felt food and handmade clips!

Bean Buddy Brooch kits

The market was perfectly organised and everything was beautifully presented and catered for. The Jazz band was awesome, and everyone brought their blankets and just relaxed under the big trees and had a really relaxing day .. and the food.. oh .. don’t get me started on the food..

I am happy to say that Lime Green Bean will certainly be at the next Blos Mark and I really hope to see you all there!

To Market! To Market! 2 in 1 Day.. Hooray!!

Lime Green Bean will be at TWO lovely markets this weekend, both on Saturday 5th May 2012!

I will have some goodies at the Journey2Joy stall at The Fat Olive Organic and Craft Market which is at the Fat Olive Restaurant from 9:00am - 13:00pm.

The market is at Plot 92, Lammermoor Conservancy, Elandsdrift Road, Muldersdrift.

Getting Ready for the Market!



I have been so so busy sewing up a storm to get everything done for the Market on Friday (My first real market! YAY!) .. and to make matters worse on Friday I had the most brilliant idea to create a kit where people can make their own brooch / pin.. so.. I have made a ton of these little "Bean Buddies" to include in the market..

The Idea is that people can create their own personality for their Bean Buddy. The kit comes with everything you need to create one, as well as some cool ideas for different personalities!

It's SO easy-peasy to make - even kids can make them and its pretty fun too!!

I know it may not seem like a great deal of stock.. but considering it takes up to 40 min (with "skilled hands" heehee) to just make 1.. yes ONE felt cup cake for example, you can imagine how many hours of love went into these goodies..

Lime Green Bean has been invited to exhibit my felt food range at a really cool new market called Rosemary Manor Market in Lynnwood. The next market date is on Friday the 9th May 2011 and I have been really busy making more "Tea For Two" sets...
